Sowing Sustainability: Flink System's ESG Collaboration in Aquaponics for a Resilient Community

Flink System is proud to participate as a project partner in the sustainable farm project for St. Nicolas' Home, initiated and supported by Rotary Club of George Town, Prudential and Arkitek LLA.

This meaningful collaboration, centred on aquaponics, exemplifies ESG principles, advancing sustainable agriculture and enhancing food security in our community.

Aquaponics is a sustainable and integrated system that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants without soil). In an aquaponics system, fish and plants are grown together in a closed-loop, mutually beneficial environment. The fish provide nutrients to the plants from their waste, and the plants keep the fish's water clean.

By integrating aquaponics into food production systems, organizations and communities can actively contribute to ESG objectives, while supporting a more sustainable and responsible approach to farming.
